Geoff Muskett. Blog.

A personal scrapbook, where I post progress on current projects, scribbles, code snippets I've found useful, maybe a photograph or two, and anything else web / graphics / art that I find inspiring.

Great to be involved in a project to bring back some much needed culture to Newquay.

This was a pleasure to code - even at 2am - brilliant idea and lovely vintage design… great work Carla Lamb and Karl Mackie!

Selfless people who try and make good things happen… have always motivated me. Two weeks ago I was approached by Carla Lamb who had a brilliant idea of bringing classic old surf movies to Newquay, the project was created as a way of giving amateur surf film makers and photographers a chance of getting their work out there and showcasing their talent to a wider audience.
Instantly inspired and without hesitation thus followed two weeks of design & photography, also onboard was web genius Geoff Muskett who accepted my crazy ask of turning this around in 7 days without even thinking about it.With late night coffees, emails firing back and forth, Crappy music at four in the morning and no sleep, between us we got it done! The British Surf Film Festival, held at the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay from 22nd - 23rd September, aims to celebrate the very essence of surf culture with a selection of old and new surf feature films and documentaries as well as launching the hottest new homegrown talent. In between screenings, we will be hosting a Q&A sessions with filmmakers and notable surfers, discussions and meet and greets with surfing’s elite. A surfing gallery will be open to the public for the duration of the event and exhibit entrants in our Homegrown photo competition.  We are live at www.britishsurffilmfestival.comAnd we are on Facebook Please re-blog, Check us out & tell your friends.
